Spanish-Speaking Intake Coordinator/Investigator

Legal Aid seeks professional, detail-oriented, individual committed to serving indigent community for the position of intake coordinator/investigator in a fast-paced, poverty law office. 

Tasks and Duties:

Responsibilities include managing electronic and paper intake filing system; conducting initial telephone screening and referrals; conducting Spanish-speaking intake interviews; filing/copying documents at D.C. Superior Court and local agencies; conducting investigations; and serving subpoenas.  Driver’s license and ability to speak Spanish required.  Ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, initiative, and good oral and written communication skills. Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $28,000 D.O.E., with good benefits.
