Lauren Godles

Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Lauren Godles joined Legal Aid as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal in July 2012. She graduated from Tufts University in May 2012 with a B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Studies, as well as a minor in Sociology. For her senior thesis, Lauren interviewed low-income Latino immigrants in East Boston and wrote a gendered analysis of their use of social networks in the migration process. During her time at Tufts, Lauren also taught English, tutored students, and worked as an immigration paralegal at Centro Presente, a Latino advocacy organization in Somerville, MA. She also spent a semester studying and volunteering in Lima, Peru. At Legal Aid, Lauren provides administrative support and assistance to the attorneys in the Housing Law Unit. Lauren is fluent in Spanish.
