COVID-19 FAQs

Legal Aid knows that it is harder to do everything during this COVID-19 health crisis.  There have been temporary changes in the courts and the District and federal governments that are hard to keep track of without help.  And sometimes it is hard to know where to get that help.

To help our community find answers and legal help, Legal Aid prepared a series of Frequently Asked Questions which are featured below.   If you cannot find the information you need or need legal help, please contact Legal Aid at (202) 628-1161 or apply for help online.  If you have a housing case, you can contact our tenant hotline at 202-851-3388.
