Madison Cassell

Madison Cassell joined Legal Aid DC as Deputy Director of Development in September 2022. In that capacity, she supports our annual fundraising initiatives, cultivates relationships with major donors, and oversees our grant program.

Madison’s background is in political fundraising, most notably serving as Finance Director for Amy McGrath’s 2020 Senate campaign in Kentucky. She worked on campaigns across the country, including high profile races in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Nevada. She started her career at EMILY’s List in 2016.

Madison graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2016 with a B.A. in Rhetoric & Writing and Middle Eastern Languages & Cultures.
