Jennifer Kelso

Jen Kelso is a Staff Attorney with the Immigration Project and Domestic Violence / Family Law Unit. Prior to joining Legal Aid DC in 2023, she clerked for the Honorable Judge Julie H. Becker of the D.C. Superior Court. 

Jen graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Jen completed internships with Ayuda, the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild, and the Legal Aid Justice Center in Richmond, VA. She also served as a student attorney in the University of Virginia's immigration and housing clinics. Before attending law school, Jen worked at Legal Aid DC as the legal assistant for the Family/DV and Consumer Units from 2016-18.
