Eleni Christidis is a Supervising Attorney in the Housing Law Unit. She represents low-income tenants in eviction and housing conditions cases before the D.C. Superior Court. She also litigates housing law claims before administrative bodies, such as the D.C. Housing Authority and the Office of Administrative Hearings. Eleni is proficient in Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, and Greek

Prior to joining Legal Aid DC in October 2017, Eleni clerked for the Honorable Neal E. Kravitz of the D.C. Superior Court.

Eleni received her J.D., cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A., cum laude, from Yale University. During law school, Eleni interned for the Honorable Stephen H. Glickman of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and spent a summer in the Special Litigation Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. She participated in the Center for Applied Legal Studies (CALS) clinic, where she represented clients seeking asylum, and was a legal research and writing fellow.

Prior to law school, Eleni taught English for two years in rural Yunnan Province, China.
