Cecilia (Ceci) Bruni is a Staff Attorney in the Reentry Justice Project, where she represents individuals in criminal record sealing matters in DC Superior Court and assists pro bono attorneys. Prior to joining Legal Aid DC, Ceci worked as a Staff Attorney at the Second Look Project in Washington, DC, where she represented DC residents seeking relief from extreme prison sentences, primarily through the Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act (IRAA). Before that, Ceci worked as an Associate at Williams & Connolly LLP.

Ceci earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Cornell Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Allegheny College. While in law school, Ceci worked in the Capital Trial Clinic and spent three semesters in the Women's Decarceration Practicum, where she assisted incarcerated survivors of domestic violence seek freedom from prison.
