Christopher Scott is Legal Aid DC's Chief Financial Officer. In that capacity, he is responsible for the overall financial health and stewardship of the organization, overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, audit, grants management, compliance, and financial reporting.
Prior to joining Legal Aid DC in August 2026, Chris served as Head of US Finance and Operations for the Rhodes Trust. He previously spent several years at Marcum LLP's Client Accounting Services practice, providing full-cycle accounting services to a diverse portfolio of nonprofit clients.
Chris received his B.A. from the University of Alabama in 2011 and M.A. from Georgetown University in 2013.
