Claire Comey joined Legal Aid DC in 2024 as a Staff Attorney with the Domestic Violence and Family Law Unit.
Before joining Legal Aid, Claire worked as a law fellow at a national nonprofit. While in graduate school, she completed legal internships and social work practicums focused on violence prevention and social justice, worked as a First Amendment Clinic student attorney, and taught an undergraduate course.
Claire also served on the Title IX advisory boards at her undergraduate and graduate institutions. She has volunteered and worked in the anti-violence field since 2015.
