Diana Baltierra Alanis is a Georgetown Fellow in the Public Benefits Unit.
Diana received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in Spring 2026. While in law school, Diana worked as a student attorney in Georgetown Law’s Center for Applied Legal Studies, where she represented asylum seekers in their affirmative asylum cases and volunteered as a Spanish interpreter. She previously interned as a law clerk for the Office of Administrative Hearings of the District of Columbia and as a summer law fellow at Massey & Gail LLP. Diana was also a student leader and volunteer for Georgetown Law's Asylum Advocacy Trip, in which she worked with immigrants and children at the Southern border and in Florida.
Diana graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Government and minors in French and Korean. Diana is a native Spanish speaker.
