Emily Grau is a Staff Attorney in the Domestic Violence/Family Law Unit. She represents survivors in civil protection order cases and other family law matters. She also represents clients through the Immigration Project. She is proficient in French.  

Emily received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a Notes Editor for the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. While in law school, she represented survivors of labor and sex trafficking in immigration matters through the Michigan Human Trafficking Clinic. Emily interned at Legal Aid DC as well as Hogar Immigrant Services in Alexandria, VA. In 2020, she was awarded the Elizabeth Gibson Fellowship for her legal work on behalf of women and children. Emily received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University.
