Erika Anclade

Erika Anclade is the Systemic Advocacy Fellow in Legal Aid DC’s Systemic Advocacy & Law Reform Program. She will spend the year collaborating with the Policy Advocacy, Community Engagement, Impact Litigation, and Appellate Litigation teams on a cross-systemic project targeted at economic justice issues affecting D.C. residents. She is passionate about employing this integrated-advocacy approach to systemic change in the legal system.

Erika earned her B.A. at Yale College and her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as a Legal Research and Writing Law Fellow, the General Managing Editor of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law & Policy, and as a student attorney in the Appellate Courts Immersion Clinic. During her summers, she interned at Equal Justice Under Law and for the Honorable Florence Y. Pan on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Prior to law school, Erika worked as a stage actor and a program manager at a remote tutoring company.
