Intake Coordinator
Gary Cunningham joined Legal Aid DC in March of 2003. Prior to working at Legal Aid, Gary worked as a Paralegal and Intake Coordinator/Investigator with the Legal Aid Society of New York. In New York, Gary’s work focused on legal issues affecting prisoners, and he worked directly with inmates at Rikers Island Correctional Facility. As an Intake Coordinator at Legal Aid DC, Gary performs the many tasks involved in managing Legal Aid DC’s intake process including: fielding telephone and written inquiries; maintaining Legal Aid DC’s computerized client database; and compiling monthly intake statistics.
