Kayla Moore, a DC native, joined Legal Aid DC in 2023 as a Development Associate and previously worked as a Development Intern in 2021. She graduated from George Mason University in May 2023 with a B.S. in Forensic Science and a minor in Forensic Psychology. She also has a background in law enforcement from her time as a Crime Scene Sciences Intern with the Department of Forensic Sciences. As a Development Associate, Kayla's responsibilities include managing Legal Aid’s donor database systems, providing acknowledgment letters to individual and organizational donors, as well as circulating daily revenue reports. She also supervises the Development Department’s intern program.
