Leunea Myers is a California native who joined Legal Aid DC as a Senior Legal Assistant in January 2023. She is responsible for supporting the Family Law/Domestic Violence Unit. Prior to joining Legal Aid DC she was the Reentry Services Coordinator for the Federal Government, assisting women in the greater DMV area with gaining access to housing, medical coverage, employment resources, and food assistance. Leunea is a recent graduate of the Georgetown Paralegal Studies Program where she trained in legal research, litigation, and trial preparation, and has over 15 years of administrative experience. She is currently studying Computer Science at the University of Maryland, Global Campus, while also pursuing a certificate in Legal Technology.
