Martha Arzu joined Legal Aid DC in April 2024 as an Intake Specialist/Paralegal with the Immigration Unit. She is a graduate of Bernard Baruch College, where she studied corporate communications with a minor in law and policy. Before relocating to D.C. from New York, she spent several years at a nonprofit organization in the Bronx, where she worked closely with both clients and staff. Among her many responsibilities, she organized, maintained, and analyzed a client intake database to help make enrollment and service as seamless as possible.  

Martha is passionate about public service, advocacy, and a career in law. She is fluent in Spanish.
