Nicole Johnson is a DC native who joined Legal Aid DC in October 2024 as Senior Legal Assistant/Paralegal supporting the Intake Unit. Nicole has over 20 years of professional experience, including work with the Social Security Administration’s national Ticket to Work Program, which aims to help Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) beneficiaries return to work and become self-sufficient. Nicole previously worked with the DC Department of Employment Services in the Unemployment Insurance Division. Shortly before joining Legal Aid, Nicole earned a certificate from the MORCA-Georgetown Paralegal Program, where she trained in legal research, litigation, and trial preparation.
