Omar Hashem serves as a senior investigator for Legal Aid DC's Housing Law Unit. As an investigator, Omar works with Legal Aid DC’s attorneys to conduct fact investigation in cases.
Prior to Legal Aid DC, Omar owned and operated his own technology consulting business which focused on the issues of smaller companies in the DC/MD/VA area. Omar has honed his ability in maintaining composure during stressful situations to keep the client at ease while solving the issue at hand. Being in these positions allows him to think on his feet and always find a solution to any problem presented.
As a lifelong resident of the DMV, Omar is proud to use his learned skills and abilities to positively impact the community he’s grown up in and loves.
