Ramy “Ryan” Zamzam is a DC native who joined Legal Aid DC in October 2025 and serves as a Bilingual Legal Assistant within the Family Law and Domestic Violence Unit.
Ramy graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Howard University and is currently completing his MBA from the University of the People. Prior to starting at Legal Aid DC, Ramy completed the Georgetown University Paralegal Studies Program, graduating as valedictorian of his class.
Ramy has professional experience in operations management and was working at a technology startup before joining Legal Aid DC. He is very passionate about public interest law and increasing access to legal services for the residents of DC.
