Inside Legal Aid
For more than 30 summers, the DC legal community has come together to raise funds to support Legal Aid’s mission. This year’s Making Justice Real Campaign raised an unprecedented $4.27 million, surpassing the previous year’s record by more than $500,000. This incredible achievement was only made possible because of the collective efforts of our community. We are profoundly grateful to Honorary Co-Chairs Melanie Nussdorf and Leah Quadrino of Steptoe, our dedicated team of associate Co-Chairs, the hundreds of attorneys who led campaigns at 75 firms, and the more than 4,700 donors whose generosity fueled this success. Special thanks is owed to Latham & Watkins, which finished first overall for the 11th consecutive year. Together, you helped make justice real for thousands of DC residents in need.
